Over conference weekend we decided to take a drive and see the beautiful country around us. We took off with no destination in mind and we ended up at the Spiral Jetty. Each time I see it, I think the artist Robert Smithson was crazy. He took hundreds of rocks and formed them into this spiral. Brooklynn loved it because we told her that she was walking on the beach and she also found salt crystals. She also wrote her name in the sand.
Someday we will take her to a real beach.
