Taxes :(

Now is getting to be the time that we all start to think about doing our dreaded taxes. You have to think about w-2's, interest, deductibles, contributions, where that that one receipt go?, where did I place that statement from the banks, etc. But when you own your own companies, you have double even triple the things you need to think about. For example, mileage, fuel, meals, tools, job materials, clothing, income, expenses, and the lists go on and on. Every year, I have to remember what form needs to be filed and when and I think every year there is always one that I always forget. Then, I spend a few nights collecting all our information so that we can give it to our tax prep. lady. About 8 or 9 years ago we were referred to a place in Riverton/Draper (I really don't know where I just know it is on 12600 S.) We have used them every year since. They are great. I just take them my papers sit with her as we ask each other questions and in 2 hours they have done our plumbing company, my Usborne business, and our personal taxes and we walk out know that we just accomplished something big. This year was no different.


Now that we live up here in Corinne it takes us about 2 hours to get down there we are starting to think about finding someone a littler closer but I think that finding a good tax person is like finding a great hairstylist or a great dentist. You never want to give them up.

NOW WE CAN JUST RELAX AND NOT WORRY UNTIL THIS TIME NEXT YEAR.
