Jed is still busy with his plumbing company. He is doing more service calls than ever before but hey at least it is still work unlike many other plumbing contractors out there. He is also still on the Weber County Search and Rescue. I think he is just about on every team they have except the diving team. His favorites are the climb team and the horseback team. Just a little over a month ago he went for training on the air boat and out of the 20 or so people that were there for the training he was hand picked to be one of the 4 drivers of the brand new air boat. He is so talented at everything he does! They have already had 2 call-outs this year and he wasn't able to make it to either of them but we are only into the new year 21 days.
I love how he is so motivated to keep busy and how he takes care of us. I do not like the cold or to even be out in it so Jed comes home at nights (sometimes really late) and he still has to take care of all of our animals and makes sure that everything is set for the next day.
Me!

I still miss teaching and some day I will go back for now though I am staying home with the kids. But about 9 months ago I started selling Usborne Books. I needed to get out of the house a few times a month and at the time I started I didn't know how busy I was going to get. I was very surprised at how fast my team started to grow and by December 1st, I was promoted to supervisor. For those of you who do not know about Usborne Books at Home, we are a home-based company where you get to be your own boss. But what really caught my attention is that unlike many other direct selling companies, I do not have to have any minimums what so ever. I can work only once a year, once a week, or once a month, it truly is a great company. Plus I love books and even though I don't need it we are getting a great home library. Please feel free to visit my website at www.ubah.com/u2780. You can order right online or call me direct.

Our beautiful girl - Brooklynn

Wow! What can I say about Brooklynn? She is smart, beautiful, a leader, kind, caring, a wonderful helper, independent, and I could keep on going. She is currently 3 1/2 years old and attends a preschool in Brigham City at a lady's house. She loves to go to preschool even though they are teaching things that she already knows. So I push her a little farther and she knows already how to spell her name, mom, dad, my aunt Bonnie's name, and hi. She also can read a few words and knows her phone number and we are currently working on her address. Somedays it just amazes me where she comes up with things. For example, last month, she said, "Mom, I wish I had 4 arms." When I asked her why, she said, "so I could carry all my things." I looked over at her and she had a armful of toys and was just about ready to lose it all. Another favorite talk that made me laugh was just a few weeks ago and it was about growing up. She wanted to know why Chase was getting bigger. I asked her why she was getting bigger and she replied, "so that I can fly." I am not sure if this comes from watching Tinkerbell 100 times or if it came from last summer when we took my aunt Geri to the airport after a Bridal shower in Park City. She wanted to fly in an airplane and I told her when she gets older maybe we could go somewhere on a plane. She loves Chase and she loves being an older sister. She is a great helper and she loves to help Chase walk. She even cheers him on.
Our handsome boy - Chase

Chase just celebrated his 1st birthday. He is such a mommy's boy but he loves to follow Brooklynn and he is so happy when Jed comes home. I am so thankful that he is healthy and strong. As some of you know he was at a high risk of having down syndrome and when he came out perfectly healthy I was so thankful. Then we went through the Jaundice and then his doctor was concerned about his unusally big head and how fast it was growing. So we had to do MRI's at primary children's because they wanted to make sure it wasn't a tumor. Thankfully, he just has a big head. He is going to be our family troublemaker. He loves to get into anything he can and I found out that there is no need for a vacuum at our home because he picks up everything.

Yeah! Brooklynn can spell my name!! She totally rocks. I love you guys.
